Career
I began with the major events of 1992. For more than 17 years I worked in Ibero-American cooperation, as well as in Eastern Europe, Africa and the rest of Europe. My focus is tourism as a tool for territorial development: culture, education, commerce and sustainability working together.
I served on the Board of UNWTO Affiliate Members for more than a decade, I am part of its Panel of Experts of the World Tourism Barometer, and I coordinate the Global Network on Shopping Tourism.
Today I chair Tourism and Society Think Tank, an independent organisation that brings together almost 1,500,000 tourism professionals worldwide, and I work as an international advisor and consultant.
